This half day course looks at the Licensing Act 2003 which controls alcohol sales, regulated entertainment and late night refreshment. These are the licences that enable pubs, clubs, theatres, cinemas and takeaways to operate. Administered and enforced by local authorities, this course looks at the grant, use and possible actions against these licences. It also looks at Temporary Event Notices and the situations which do not require authorisations.
